Re. Chat on email

Hi

Does anyone know, if I am in Chat on my email page and I am typing messages to my friend, and I can see other people's names available to chat. Can they see what I type to my friend, or can you only chat to one person at a time?

Any comments appreciated.

What do you mean by chat on my email page, id say no to your question, usually if you chatting to 1 person then only that 1 person can see the messgaes

A week or so ago, my Yahoo! email page changed. Now when I go to check my emails I get an orange heading above my emails with my friends name, and at the bottom of my email page, it say's my friend is online ready to chat. If I click on to this link, it takes me to a page where we can both type a message and it is a quick response, not like emailing. I have never done anything like this before, so am unsure as to how it works.

Thanks for the info, but I wouldn't have a clue how to speak to someone literally with headphones. How do you know what kind to buy?

Not very technical minded unfortunately. I have even got a web cam and tried to use it but there doesn't seem to be any information to tell you how to set it up. So it is in the garage doing nothing.

Get a pair of headphones in the £1 shop.they have the ones with mouth piece on as well so are a bargain.
When you have Yahoo msn up and running click on the top where it says "actions " on the drop down box "Start a voice call " the person your calling has to be online as well. I have called someone not on line and left a message.You can do it on Hotmail as well.

dipsy81 Say what model of Web cam it is and we will get you on that as well.
Have you tried just plugging it into a usb ?If it doesnt need a driver go to yahoo and go to the actions box and click"more actions " Invite to view my web cam. Make sure your friend is on line at same time.
Or a better idea is just right click the Yahoo msn guy on task bar and it comes up there as well
