How do I change colour 'temperatures' on Toshiba laptop?

Looking for controls to set my Toshiba Equium's screen colour temperature. I've been told that it needs to be set around 6500K to give me a true reflection of printing colours... all goes over my head but if I'm told that's what I need to do then that's what I'll do - if ever I can find the blummin control to do it :mad:

Sorry, but I don't think you can. I've never come across a laptop with the equivalent of a monitor's Onscreen Display, which is where you normally select the Colour Temperature.
You will probably need to connect an external monitor (easy, assuming it has VGA out, which most do) and adjust the Colour Temperature on that.0 -
