Had an email from ING offering 3% for 1 year with instant access ,just wondering if to put this years allowance into this as theres not a lot else better around at present.Any better offers around without tying money up?

The issue I can see about this isa is that the rate is fixed for 1 year. As the consensus is that the base rate will rise, the 3% interest on this account will not.0

Hi,
The ING is one of the better ones around at the moment for instant access (sadly!), but have a look at Santander's 3.2%. It's instant access and the 3.2% includes a guarantee that they will give you BOE plus 2.7%, hence the current 3.2. As BOE may well rise in next year this account is likely to earn slightly higher interest at some point. I don't think there are any instant access that don't have variable rates or rates that will last beyond 12 months
