New postal rates and vinyl/records

I am just curious how the new postal changes will affect the cost of posting 12" records. I have lots to sell and I kept putting it off and now I worry a massive postage jump. I remember when I last sold a 12" it cost me about £1.30 - £1.75 to post a record.
I know I could try and study it in the booklet but i'd rather ask people who are regular sellers of records and know the full facts.
Cheers.

the outer dimensions, in theory would render it as a small packet!
seems the whole thing has been set up to jack up the prices of posting CD's and dvd's only, most other stuff stays around the same.
wonder if it's anything to do with blair, stealth tax, getting back VAT by jacking up post and creaming off the top?, i don't think they've the brains to think of thatmoney saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Like bleugh says it will be classed as a packet and the cost will still be on weight and that will depend entirely on what packing method you use. Every vinyl seller seems to favour a different posting method, the rates are here though:

Postage costs are paid by the buyer.
If there is any increase all sellers will have to take this into account and set their posting charges accordingly.0
