computer crashing

what could be the cause of my computer crashing? it does it all the time and i have no idea why? any sugestions greatly apreciated thanks

A bit more information needed.
What exactly do you mean by 'crashing'? Is the computer restarting itself? Are there any error messages coming up?
What operating system are you using?
Are you doing anything in particular at the time it crashes?0 -
sorry i am not very clued up. it jus freezes mouse wont work or keyboard i have to reset it to start it up again. its windows 7 hope this helps.0

When did this start happening? Was it after any changes you recall (new hardware/software being installed?). Does it only seem to happen when there is a particular piece of software running, or will it happen if you just switch the computer on and leave it a while?0

it started a while ago it wouldnt even come on at one point then i had someone look at it and put windows 7 on it. can get on it now but it freezes. if i switch it on and leave it for a while sometimes it does it but it does do it more when i am actually using it if that makes sense0
