Independent New Build - What to ask

Hi there folks.
I'm off to view a new build bungalow with my parents in the morning.
The bungalow they're going to view is an independent new build, i.e just the one, on what looks from the EA photos on a piece of land behind other houses.
What do we need to look out for and what important questions do we need to ask. Obviously their solicitor will ask all the necessary, but if there's anything that would be a big no-no we'd rather know from the off than waiting a few weeks down the line. They've just returned from overseas, currently in a hotel and are cash buyers, so don't want to waste any more time than necessary.
TIA
