Accounts with Gap Year funding

Basically, I just need a high street account which I can pay cheques into and move the money into my IF account online.
I'm still an A2 student but already have my place for a HND the year after. So could I get a student account and use this year as my funded gap year?
If not, any other options?

I know HSBC and NatWest offer a Gap Year account which then becomes a Student Account when your Gap Year's over...
I think your best bet is to visit a branch and ask to talk to someone about it - take some forms of ID, some proofs of address etc. with you, as you may be able to open one there and then!
Hope this helps!0
