outlook express error everytime i try to send an email?

hi guys,

i have a uni email address using outlook express nemo.strath.ac.uk is the login to check im saying that right but now every time i try to send an email from my laptop this comes up. Can someone tell me whats going on please? The laptop is new and runs on windows 7 but i think the unis changed to this now and i dont have problems there. The emails generally send but sometimes dont, i always get this message and some of these emails are important. Thanks for any advice in advance

If you have a new laptop with Windows 7, Outlook Express won't be the email client. It will probably be Windows Mail, or upgraded to Windows Live Mail.

I would ensure your settings are set up correctly in 'Mail', this can effect receipt/sending of emails.

Possibly someone else can offer better advice?

im not sure how to change the settings what should i be looking for? I thought windows live mail was a different thing?

The error message suggests you are using Outlook Web Access - a webmail system, NOT Outlook Express. If that is the case ignore what libra10 said.

I suggest you ask your University's IT Helpdesk.
