glary utilities is it any good

Just looking at free internet security found glary utilites, has any body used them/are thay any good, Your views would be good.

It's OK for a freebie. Although I don't really bother with these utility programs any more. I just use defrag and CCleaner

im the most un techy person in the world, my laptop is now working very slow and freezing i have avg 9, it had no id protection so added avg free id protection this seems to have caused the problems dont know what to do, or how too do defrags ect. will the glary utillitys sort this out and do i need to uninstall avg ty

If you uninstall Avg be sure to use the removal tool.

Either of these Avira/Avast/Mse would be better.

In the mean time to check computer

Download MALWAREBYTES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')

Open malwarebytes and go to UPDATE and click 'check for updates'. After its updated go to SCANNER and click PERFORM FULL SCAN then click SCAN
Post the COMPLETE log here AFTER youve deleted everything it finds

Download HIJACK THIS (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD THIS VERSION')

Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
(do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
