Appartments Spain?

Could anyone here recommend any 'decent' appartments that would be available from July (05) 16th - 30th (2 weeks) in the south of spain, I was mainly looking at staying in Porto Baneus, or Estapona. It is also essential that the accomodation is located within walking distance of supermarkets etc, and beach.

The accomodation must be at least a one bedroom self catering appartment (not a skyscraper appartment), with the usual kitchen facilities, bathroom etc. And at most I was looking at spending no more than £350 per week. Can anyone recommend any where in that area to stay? Or know of any contacts/web sites that list self catering accomodation in spain? I would prefer to deal straight with the owner of the appartment, than through an agent if possible, but no essential. Advice much appreciated! :)

I stayed (twice) at this apartment in Barcelona. The apt. is 1st class, the locatoin is excellent (no i'm not on commission). The only bad thing is there isn't much of a view from the apartment. anyways I would higly recomment it, oh and the people are very very friendly

I am in Estepona just now and I'll be here till June. Puerto Banus I don't know anything about. Most apartments in Estepona are in blocks with about 6 floors. The big thing to be aware of is that there are (in effect) 2 Esteponas. 1 is the town of Estepona where I am and the 2nd is the district of Estepona which stretches along the coast about 7 kilometers in either direction of the town. I would strongly suggest getting an apartment in the town. There are a couple of local agents here that I can give you the phone nos. of, if you wish. I do know a few people who rent appartments but I neither reccommend nor decry them. I can give you my opinion on any apartment areas that you may be offered.
https://www.melrose-properties.com will give you a starting point for prices.

How about 20m, and situated on the Paseo Maritimo in Marbella? See link below...

I've stayed in these apartments twice (in 1988 & 1994) when an ex work colleague owned one (apartment 3-11). I notice they've been recently renovated.

You will simply not beat the location, although if you're hiring a car, parking was a problem in the town centre when we were there.

Only had a quick glance at the web page before posting the link but it looks like £604 for the dates quoted.

We stayed in Marina Bay in Estepona - really nice but the owner I think has sold it. What she does have is a much nicer place within walking distance along the lovely prom to the town. It is also right by the marina with all the shops restaurants etc. Contact Joanne Vrouenraets - vrouenraets@planet.nl or https://www.esteponabelgraviaclub.com Although they are Dutch you pay in English money to their son in East Anglia.

I can confirm that Belgraviaclub is one of the better urbanizations and that it is close to all amenities, although it does seem a bit dear.

  • Thanks very much for the links! Some good places on holidaylettings.co.uk look good thanks peejay, as for the Belgraviaclub - £690 per week for just me and my girlfriend seems a little to high for us. Yorkshireboy - your link didn't seem to load? Thanks for the feedback! :)

Sorry, it became corrupted/shortened when I copied it from my browsers address bar. The link below now works - sorry for any inconvenience.
