Does anyone know of any work from home schemes that are lagit?

My wife stopped work a while ago due to ill health and we now have some depts that I would prefer to pay off quickly. I work full time but would like a work at home ob to earn some more cash but when I have looked they all seem very dodgy like send us money so you can start to earn money.

I've tried to do Usborne Books (Usbornebooksathome.co.uk). It's £19 to start up this month. If your wife has any sales knack she could earn a few quid at this, however I haven't done too well. I couldn't flog beer to students frankly! Also, the stock is heavy to carry so having a few toddlers hanging off you doesn't make it any easier! The books are very nice and attractive and children love them so you're not trying to sell something iffy.
If you have no kids or school age kids and a bit of a thick skin it's worth looking into. It could provide a modest income.
