Seems to be a real mix of reviews with this company. They do seem cheaper than a lot of places for some things. I've read on google reviews about the horrendous credit card charges for mastercard. Surely in a few days (New Year) their credit card surcharges are outlawed by the government?0

No it is only a recommendation at the moment, if the law gets passed then it won't be until the end of 2012.0 -
look at their terms and conditions. they said
4.1
After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us.
the UK distance selling regulations said:
Performance of the contract
Unless the parties agree otherwise, the supplier must perform the contract within 30 days from the day after the consumer sent his order to the supplier.
they put the lowest price in computer components market in the uk and received your order then immediately cancel your order.
your personal information and credit card information were fully stoled by them and they also took money from your account. although they agree to refund in full, the amount of money you paid cannot be used immediately. you temporarily lose the credit to spend.
beware, this is a trip online seller:money:0 -
I've purchased from them, but have failed to receive goods or a refund, or any response to my query emails. I will never use them again.0

Having read the above posts I have decided not to use this company to buy my daughters laptop. They are £25 on a £500 machine, but I don't hold out much hope if I had to claim on the guarantee, I will use CCL in Bradford, which is in driving distance!:D0

I've come here after looking for a motherboard I've seen on Ebuyer, it's only a couple of quid cheaper on ILGS so after what I have read I dont think I will risk it. Thanks for the heads up :beer:0

So many mix reviews about this company. But I guess there will be more people to leave negative feedback rather than positive. I want to order a printer so lets see0

Old thread but I'd say avoid them. I had a run in with them over their made up DSR rules about 3 years ago.
I purchased a NAS drive off them that suggested it did something it didn't. So I requested a return and they said fine but they'd charge a restocking fee. I told them they won't and quoted them section 3.55 of the DSR acts states they can't. They disagreed, tried to quote another section of the DSR but got it wrong as it related to software, the item I had was hardware.
They said they'd still charge and that they may give me a discount on the restocking fee but its at the warehouse managers discretion.
I again told them no they won't quoted the DSR again, told them Trading Standards were not involved (they were and had agreed with me that I was in the right) and then told them if they didn't refund me in full (obviously minus the p&p that I was obliged to pay on returning the item) I'd take them to a small claims court.
They backed down, dropped the illegal restocking fee and refunded me but purposely took a few more days after receiving the goods to pay me back.
I've never used them again.0 -
This just happened.
Was just about to complete checkout for 10 items on ILGS, when I hit a problem with the process. I called them up to get a bit of support. Then, when the issue was resolved, I noticed that they had increased the price of the items seven-fold whilst I was waiting to re-add the items to my basket!!!
Lucky escape methinks...... I'll be steering clear in the future.
BTW - when I rang the sales number they didn't offer the company name, they just answered with a very cautious 'hello?'0
