Put your CV on Monster, phone won't stop ringing. Some companies go with the lesser well known agencies as the fees are smaller. These have a smaller candidate database and you will find they will pick you up and help immediately. Last time I was out of work my CV went on Monster on the Sunday and I was in a job by the Wednesday.

Sounds just like Reed, from past experience my local branch are just the same.

At least it looks good when you let the Job Centre Plus know how many jobs you have applied for. Guaranteed no reply from Reed and the Job Centre Plus are happy with the number of applications you have made.

The contact at our local Reed office is so highly stressed with his work load that he speaks so fast you can barely understand a work he says.

I was advised that they can only forward three applications for any of their Clients vacancies so they have to make sure the choses three are three of the best.

Myself, like you are obviously not in Reeds eyes the best.

Good luck, hope something comes along soon.
  • To make a complaint about any Reed employer; contact the Head Office 0207 6162354 and ask for the HR Office, who will put you intouch with the branch director.

    Never accept poor service!

i'm sure they've either complained or decided not to bother in the 14 months since the last post.

    Poor service?

Sorry, but Reed, or any other recruitment agencies, don't work for you, they work for their clients, the people they make money from. They don't owe you anything.
