double buggy with iffy wheel

my mum kindly bought me a double buggy at a boot sale for £25 a month or so back. this was for when my sisters friend was going to look after chops 2 days a week when i got back to work part time.

think i posted about it at the time, how the wheel fell off.

anyho, we are now putting chops into nursery (more kids to play with, learning and above all safety, first aiders on hand and insurance) so mum wants me to put the buggy on ebay.

our chiropodist is going to look at the wheel tomorrow. i believe its repairable. when i popped it back on at my mums it 'clicked' into place.

now obviously i dont want to sell it and the wheel falls off straight away so the best thing is to be honest. the buggy is clean and comes with all accessories including one unpredicatble wheel.

so do you think it might sell? and should i be honest and disclose the wheel problem?

as for delivery obviously local pick up or would you say local delivery would be better? i dont want an irate person on my doorstep 3 weeks or so after sale complaining that the wheel fell off again!

mr mob suggested deliver anywhere (he said he'll drive -yeah right) and charge 25p per mile.

Why is your sister's friend looking after chops? Surely chops don't need any looking after? I normally chops look after themselves fine if you put them in the fridge or freezer.

The wheel feel off? Such a shame but really, try not to be negative.

Surely you're spoiling the chops a bit? Wouldn't a red wine sauce have been a better bet?

So is this some kind of special chiropodist who fixes wheels?

If this is the case, why do you need the chiropodist? Surely once it's back in place you don't need it looking at any further?

Made me chortle too. The multi tasking chiropodist...lol

Dodgy wheel.....try and get it fixed so that you would be happy with it, test it to make sure it is OK. If not either dump the buggy or sell with a health warning.

Do you want the hassle of an irate buyer? Is it worth the neg? Will you accept a return? You have to weigh the pro's and cons of this sale.

If I remember correctly, and I need the practice as my dear Wife gives birth in less than two weeks, pram wheels are very easy to repair, usually just a clip which will need pushing into place
I'm back after a break :money:

I had a doube Graco one and the wheels were iffy, when we put it together they kept clicking back out as the clips were too flexible so glued it back together. It's now on it's 4th owner and doing fine. I sold it on https://www.adtrader.co.uk. Free to advertise aswell.
One day I might be more organised...........

Look into giving the option of sending it by courier, costs about £15 and you are likely to get considerably more for it, do a completed listings search on ebay and compare prices of those offering delivery and those who don't.
