Sony Bravia KDL40V5810U + Sony Blu-Ray £599 instore M&S

As mentioned in the expired M&S TV Glitch thread, M&S are selling the Sony Bravia KDL40V5810U for £599 instore and you get a BDP-S360 Blu-Ray player (worth £150) for free. This is not as good as the W model in the glitch, but is still a great TV and deal, esp with the 5 year guarantee you get from M&S.

Can't see the TV cheaper than £599 online anywhere, and with the Blu-Ray player this is a great price

Can't see the same offer online at M&S (TV is same price but no mention of Blu-Ray player)

TV spec is here:

Aidy, are you sure? I just called lakeside M&S and they told me its £699, with free Bluray player.

I ordered this from M&S website the other day and there was no mention of a free blue ray player (however I have emailed to ask just to make sure). Quidco tracked at £30, and with the free 5 year guarantee and free installation it is still a very good deal.

Very same TV at Costco is £587.48 (including VAT) and you have to uplift it and install yourself!

It was in Milton Keynes, and someone on HDUK has got the same deal from Teeside (I think); could be the signage is wrong but the lower price comes through the till?

Thanks Aidy, I went back to them, first they said they dont know that deal. But when I told them that my friend got it in MK, they said its there.
Its really surprising that its not advertised anywhere....

I ordered it last night, hope the TV's picture quality is good.

thank you firstly to vkusman and aidy....

I emailed M&S and was told no such deal. When I seen this thread updated this morning, called M&S and spoke to a really helpful person called Harriet who called the MK branch and came back to tell me it is instore offer only...Had to cancel online order, and re-order through local branch (Edinburgh). Was told a visit to store necessary to order but once again Harriet stepped in and got it sorted, so order taken over the phone:T
So now I have the blue ray player coming with the TV, we don't a have a blue ray player and were thinking of buying one...this has made my day, thank you Aidy and vkusman again

Glad it worked for you. Good thing is you would get your cashback as well, hopefully.

No worries - good to share a deal.

The Blu-ray player is great - you just need to get some discs now!!

Not sure if Disney is your bag, but if so they are on BOGOF in many places at present. Animations such as Toy Story, Wall E etc. look especially good.

Thanks so much for posting this deal. I originally tried to reserve by phone, but was told the offer was only valid by actually visiting the Store. Anyway, I eventually managed to buy the last one from Milton Keynes this morning. :j
