OECD: UK Growth stronger than rivals

Since the Tories are favorites to win the election, they obviously took this into account when predicting the UK's growth. 0 0

For gods sake, the article says "The OECD is predicting" that means they have no !!!!!!! idea Hamish, just like you don't.
You are of course completely right that the OECD's track record in predicting finances has for the last 2 years been as bad as the next set of experts.
So lets set aside their forecast and look at the facts on the ground. In Q4 Britain grew by 0.4% and is growing vs Q3. The Eurozone was flat in Q4, a declining trend vs Q3.
Say what you like about the forecast, the actuals show we're doing far better than Europe is. Isn't that the opposite of what you frothers kept telling us was/is happening?0

I can't see us powering ahead when the rest of Europe is slipping back into recession, if that plays out.0

Yes it is.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
