Anyone used Tesco clubcard vouchers on Eurostar?

Morning all!
I'm a little slow on the uptake as have only just discovered my clubcard vouchers are worth considerably more when exchanging rather than redeeming in-store for money off my shopping and can use them for travel!!!:j
I'm planning a first-time trip on Eurostar in October and believe I can redeem my vouchers £52 worth for tickets. Just wondered if anyone has done this? Is it easy? Never been out of the UK in my life so this is all a bit new to me!
Any help/advice/tips appreciated.

Yes, you have to be quick to call airmiles as the fares go on sale to get the best train dates and times.
The availability is mainly off peak, so Friday night to Sunday night is likely to be blocked out.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
You can use Eurotunnel (cars) not Eurostar (passenger train) on the Clubcard deals I believe.
Go to Tesco.com and the clubcard section at bottom left to see what rewards you can apply for. You can apply for the Deal tokens online very simply by enetring in your reference numbers on your tesco Reward vouchers and they then send you the relevant Deal token throug the posts which you can then send off to Eurotunnel once you have made your booking. Its all very simple and we use some of ours each year for Eurotunnel crosiing for our French holidays
EDIt - just seen post above - didn't know that!0 -
Thanks for your replies - having checked their website the offer is indeed only for Eurotunnel/cars which is absolutely no use to me whatsover
Their booking details page still refers to Eurostar throughout but I've just noticed that travel had to be completed by May 2008 .... helpful!

Ignore my post Kirstie, RichardW posts says you can do it via airmiles which I didn't know http://www.airmiles.co.uk/content/generatePage.do?destination=Eurostar
Basically you would convert your Tesco clubcard points into Airmiles and then use your airmiles for Eurostar travel0 -
There was a time when you did it direct with Eurostar and then posted off you reward vouchers to Eurostar, it is now available through airmiles which means you have to have the miles in your account before the booking is confirmed.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

I was hoping to use eurostar myself using airmiles which was 750 to fly but when I asked for a quote on eurostar they wanted the whole lot ie 6200 for 3 people, when I asked why it was such an outrageous cost the advisor tried to claim it was because of the bankholiday. So i have now decided on the flying option,0
