Just a word of warning..check your replacements very carfully, is it an exact replacement? you may find it has the same faults, ideally while the delivery men are there, giving you the option to 'reject' them there and then if the replacements do have similar problems, or at least sign the delivery note with 'not inspected' if they are not prepaired to wait.
We once had a suite, and after some considerable effort and time we eventually managed to get a replacement on similar arrangements to yourselves, they collected and replaced the suite, however the second suite had the same manufacture faults (even worse than the first!!) but as we had already had one replacement the firm would not budge on a second replacement or refund.0 -

Thanks for this. They've indicated rigorous review of the new furniture at the manufacturers and from the store. I'm accutely aware that I need to check this carefully when it arrives.
It would seem that unpacked and checked at store, they'll have the opportunity to correct any manufacturing defects etc on the replacements. I do have concerns - should I have?________________________________________

Marns, I would be reassured that they are going to look at the furniture before its sent out to you, looks like they are doing their best..report back what the outcome is, its always useful for others with similar problems!
I'll keep my fingers crossed that your first delivery was a 'friday afternoon' make!0 -

I thought similar myself. We took a call to say that the furniture was delayed to the end of April. It then turned up on the 2nd April - some fool must have made it on the 1st! LOL (I'm still laughing!)________________________________________

:rotfl:April first manufacture!! lol
I would suspect that if they had a lead time of end of april, then come up with one a month early, that possibly it was a 'return' that someone else had rejected, that turned up in the warehouse...but thats just me...im getting too cynical !0
