Am I entitled to anyhing more?

Hi
I had planned a holiday to France but ferry had been cancelled. Resort had been paid by Debit card and say they cannot refund.
The ferry company offered a later sailing (which was unsuitable) or a refund which is now being processed.
Am I entitled to any more compensation for the resort from the ferry company?
I have emailed company but so far no response.
I then booked a 7 night holiday at a Haven resort but due to family illness had to leave after 2 nights. This had been paid for via credit card.
Am I entitled to part refund?
Again, I have emailed company and no reply as yet.
Please advise good people

No and no.
The ferry company are not liable for other losses you have sustained because of the cancellation. Haven are not responsible for your leaving your holiday early. In both cases appropriate travel insurance would have covered your losses.0 -
Why not just book with another ferry company?0
