Prob an easy question for most but thought id run this one past you knowledgeable guys. So my OH is being made redundant July 8 but she has since been offered another position within another company doing the same job, as she had to go out and look for work, does this mean she is entitled to early redundancy as shes been forced out due to the threat of not being able to find another job when redundancy comes along or is it the case that shes taken another position so more full her, the company keeps the cash? im guess its the latter and that she isn't entitled to anything as shes leaving of her own free will?
Any points you guys could put across would be great. cheers
Note, I forgot to note that she is being made redundant due to the whole business closing, they are making some redundant now and some later, she was one of the most experienced and trusted that was being kept on to the end.

She could try and get redundancy stating that they have given her notice. She could also suggest that she be allowed to go early as is the case for her colleagues who will not lose out.
If she was offered special terms and agreed to remain then it would be difficult for her to argue her case.0
