Replacement Key For Laptop

Hello,
I really need a replacement key for my HP Pavilion Laptop, however I'm finding it INCREDIBLY difficult to find one. The websites I have used don't seem to have my laptop model, and my warranty agreement needs me to send my laptop off to have the key replaced. I can't really send my laptop off as I used it every day, and can't go without it for 28 days - as said in their agreement.
If anyone can help, I'll be REALLY grateful. I bought one off of E-Bay, and whilst the key was right, the fittings weren't compatible with my laptop.
I need an 'A' key, including the plastic hinge.
My Laptop is an HP Pavilion dv6-2114sa.
Thanks very much. :j

The problem here is that manufacturers don't have warehouses with loads of spares any more. HP almost certainly won't have a box full of keys for your model with an A on them.
The smallest module that they will keep will be a complete keyboard assembly.
So if you need just one, you are really dependent on finding someone who is breaking secondhand keyboards and selling them individually.
In your position you don't really have much option but to keep searching on Ebay, and plug an external keyboard into the laptop in the meantime.0
