Loaded magazine offer 3for£1

I signed up for this a couple of weeks ago as I wanted the Original source goodies that came when you subscribed. I was told that in order to get the gift I had to get 3 for £1 then pay a quarterly sub of around £9 - decided that it was just worth it so agreed.

Today I got a letter saying they were going to take £39.60 from crdet card for one years supply.

I let out a yelp and got straight on the phone saying that I was about to phone trading standards but had decided to give them a chance to sort it out first. The person I spoke to said he would sort it out but as by this time I had little faith in the company concerned I also contacted the credit card company informing them that I believed this to be a scam.

I am going to have to check all statements even more like a hawk and feel shattered by this. Going to have a cup of tea and calm down.

If anyone does want Original Source goodies then try the Zest and Essential offers as they seem reputable.

So did you go past your 3 months for £1? And forget to cancel? As I have signed up for exaclty the same offer about 3 weeks ago, and intend on canceling subscription as soon as I hit the 2nd month, to get the 3 mags and their free gift.

I think it was the same magazine and I took up this offer. Was told by the man on the phone that I would not have the goodies until I paid the £9 second quarter, and agreed because I was too embarassed to cancel.
I cant find the direct debit on my bank account so I must have cancelled after the first payment, as usual, (I'd been thinking I had to wait for at least four months) but I received the stuff about a month later, well before the £9 second quarter. I hope they will sort it out for you.
