help on rental exit-inspection items

My tenancy terminated on 28/2 and there was an exit-inspection check-out report produced on 6/3 to which the landlord responded on 13/3.I have attended to all the action points raised by the landlord, as confirmed by a re-inspection check-out report (dated 31/3).
However the landlord has today asked me to attend to two more (reasonably minor) matters raised in the original check-out report; I wouldn't have objected if originally asked to address these, but I feel he should've raised them in his original letter of March 13th.
So what I'd like to know is does the landlord have the right to now ask me to address these issues before full return of the deposit? Any advice gratefully received :-)

As you wouldnt have objected in the first instance is it not easier, for the sake iof a quick resolution and one less hassle to just 'bite the bullet' and attend to them? - I would put it in writing that after this, there will be no further matters attended to.0

Agree with Planner: you say that you "wouldn't have objected if originally asked to address these" so clearly the two issues (which you describe as " reasonably minor" ) are ones which you would agree are justified. It will be cheaper for you to sort it yourself , as requested, than get the bill from the LL who will in all probability employ a third party.0
