Sadly to say at that age it will not be fault free, You need to make sure you keep enough money back to pay for any repairs.
    .

Utter rubbish, a well looked after car of that age/mileage, should not have any faults.

Ther is one area that catches people out time and again.

Don't assume that because a potential purchase has no HPI history, or reads clean, that it is. Only cars that have had fully comp insurance or have been stolen recovered etc, that have been through the insurance books will appear.

It is quite possible and often happens that a car insured 3rd party F&T, that is damaged as a result of driver error, gets repaired on the cheap and appears back on the road with no accident record. Yes can usually be spotted by inspection but be wary,
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

    Thanks for your help guys!

I have been reading up on the problematic CVT Mini Cooper gearbox. It's a bit hit and miss tbh.. Some have had the odd problem, whilst others have had a problem-free Cooper life... Wonder why this is a problem in some and not in others... ?? :S

Also, I found a site called Warranty Direct, where I got a quote for the car I'm interested in, which came to only £220, which covers the Automatic gearbox as well.. Would you guys recommend something like that?

    Any other tiips etc guys?

    Thanks,

    Zudecke

Best investing extra cash in finding a good quality used car than covering against buying a bad one.

If you don't know what you are doing with cars and don't want to pay the price from a good dealer with their checks and warranty, best to use an engineer of some sort to makes sure you don't end up with a lemon.
