Re-listing

I have been meaning to ask about this.
When your item does not sell, you can re-list it via Ebay and if it sells second time round you get your fees back.
If you re-list from Turbolister I assume your fees would not be refunded, as it would be treated as a new listing. I am also assuming that if you list, re-list from Ebay - still no sell, then list again from TurboLister and then re-list from Ebay and now the item sells, you will not get your third listing fees back, as it all concerns same item (item sells fourth time round).
Anyone still with me?
If I made multiple listings with same item, would they all be treated as separate listings, eligible for possible free relisting?

Um, if you did it like that I think you would get your fees back on the 3rd attempt - as you relisted it within ebay surely it would qualify?Agutka wrote:If I made multiple listings with same item, would they all be treated as separate listings, eligible for possible free relisting?
If you, say, listed the same item, from scratch, twice, you'd be entitled to relist it twice with the chance of getting fees back.
This is all a moot point really as you get nada if it doesn't sell on the relist! And bear in mind the time limit on relisting... I got stung by that recently because I didn't relist in time
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
If you want to re-list AND use turbo to edit or schedule the listing you can.
Go to your 'upload' page you'll see 'import items from ebay' button, click that and you can get all your old ebay auctions back (sold and unsold) so you can work on them and send them off again for your re-list, they have the ebay numbers on them so ebay will recognise them as applicable for a refund if they sell0 -
Moral of the story - they go by listing number.
Thank you!:wall:0 -
Also remember that listing fee refunds for items successfully relisted are for basic listing fees only, not for Gallery pics and other "extras", and although Listing Designer is free to use on Turbo Lister, if you then relist the item on eBay and not via Turbo Lister, you'll be charged the Listing Designer fee (7p I think) on the relist.0
