The V5C? If you felt threatened, you should have called the police.
Judging by his /her post she did not just feel threatened--he/she was. The OP should be down the cop shop, thumping the desk and demanding some help, they were effectively mugged after all. Its quite likely that the scum have already applied for a v5 and will sell it very quickly. Its urgent they do something very quickly.
ps. I can't see they've posted on pepipoo yet.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
Please name this "security firm" and parking company.
You really shouldn't have given him any keys.0 -
Considering the seriousness of the offence, clamper that is, I'm surprised that the OP has not been back. Possibly Kurtis was right (sorry to OP if in error)I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Assuming the OP is telling the truth, it looks like they may well have signed onwership of their vehicle to the clamping company."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

I see no reason to believe the OP is a troll or has had a bad dream. It's possible the OP feels ashamed and has decided to let the incident (and the car) go - which is unfortunate IMO. Clearly the car is not worth much from what the OP says.
Unfortunately this is how the clampers work and manage to think they're above the law (combination of police's lack of knowledge and inaction, plus lack of crimes being reported). Mucho intimidation, harassment, and demanding money with menaces.
It does look very much like demanding goods/money with menaces or plain and simple theft. They certainly have no legal entitlement to ownership/sale of the car until after they have taken the OP to court and won (which they haven't).
Please come back OP and don't give up. All hope is not lost (hopefully).0 -
I do hope I'm wrong and that the Op does come back for help. They will not be the only ones the scum rob and they need to be stopped by the law before someone gets hurt. I can see this happening if they do it to someone with some bug mates etc.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Yep if any of those scvm come to my door the crowbar was merely used in defence
Have to wonder if these idiots do things like look on the electoral roll to try single out lone females.:D0 -
I think it a shame that the OP did not pursue this on this forum or on Pepipoo as advised. It only allows the scumbags to go unpunished.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
