ohhhh now do i want clubcard points or do i continue using old tesco carriers for clearing up after my little doggie.... mmm which means buying scented nappie bags...

    Mmmm difficult one this

    loops

 Never thought of that I use mine for all the doggie mishaps AND the rubbish
  • The tesco man said on breakfast tv this morning that it only works in store but drivers will take bags off you - just no points :(
I use mine for nappies and emptying wastepaper baskets. I always forget to take bags to Aldi so I doubt if I'll remember to take them to tesco. The tesco man did say, however, they'd make empty boxes available for reuse.
I'm not sure how I feel about degradable bags. My mum had one in her spare/ junkroom for ages with something in it. As soon as we picked it up it disintegrated into a mess of tiny white pieces!

Yes I packed some summewr stuff in the loft last year in co-op bags not realising they are all biodegradable and there was very little bag left!

Great post cooltrikerchick, as every little counts this is great news. So in effect for every carrier bag I don't use I will get the equivalent of 4p to spend at MFI !!! After getting the 1p storage baskets at Ikea during the world cup I purchased some of the blue bags to carry them in to the car, so I could use them instead.

    cheers Welshy x

hi.. welshy.... (glad they arrived ok.) i asked in my tesco store and it is the 14th it all starts... so as with everything new... there could be some teething problems...maybe potential loopholes....so might be an idea to shop on the 14th and assess the situation so to speak.....
and dont forget... KEEP A STASH OF CARRIER BAGS IN THE CAR!!!!!

at ALL times..... i am putting my ones in on monday...ready....:D
