Memory stick and digital photo frame

I was given a Kodak digital photo frame for Christmas and finally got round to opening it over the weekend. It works by inserting my cameras memory stick in the frame and viewing the photos.
My question is - I have 3 or 4 different memory sticks with a couple of thousand photos. I'd like to view a selection of them on the frame so I'm guessing what I need to do is to transfer my selected photos onto a single memory stick and pop it in the frame.
I do have a spare memory stick however how do I get the photos onto it?
I imagine that I have to download every single photo to my pc, select the ones I want and then transfer to the stick - this may be a very basic question however I have no idea where I insert the memory stick into my base unit - do I need to buy something to link the memory stick to the base unit?
Apologies if it's very basic however advice much appreciated.

You should download every single picture (you want to keep) onto your PC anyway! And then do an additional backup onto a CD/DVD or a second Hard drive.
What type of 'memory stick' do you have?
You can use the camera as a means of transferring photos to and from your computer......0 -
I know I've been a bit lax - I only transferred some pictures onto the pc and I've never taken any back ups - the guy who does my pc repairs told me to buy an external hard drive and copy everything and I intended to do it next week when I have a few days off. Although it might be simpler just to look on e-buyer and get one sent to me.
My memory stick is a Memory Stick Pro Duo - it had a seperate little slot on the photo frame.
I thought initially what I should do was out all the photos on the pc, then copy to an external hard drive and then delete them from the memory sticks as I've now got 4 and was going to buy another but I'm guessing that's totally defeating the purpose?
Even if I did that and then deleted everything except the photos I wanted for the frame I'll still have some photos on one memory stick and some on others - that's the bit that was puzzling me. If I've picked you up right once I've downloaded them onto the pc and backed up then could I save them back onto the memory stick via the camera?
Thanks - sorry for being dim:o (and lazy with my back ups!)NO FARMS = NO FOOD0 -
ebuyer will be fine for getting an external drive.
I would copy (and backup) all photos, then clear the memory sticks. Then transfer the desired photos to a memory stick for use in the frame.
I would expect the frame would take SD cards, maybe you could (check first) get one from ebuyer and an SD reader (like this) to transfer pics to the SD card.If I've picked you up right, once I've downloaded them onto the pc and backed up then could I save them back onto the memory stick via the camera?
Yes correct, just as you plug/connect your camera to your PC to coy to the computer you can simply copy from your PC to camera......0
