Skype Headsets How much are they worth

Just bought 10 skype headsets with software for £7 incl delivery.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300014043231&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOIBSA:UK:11

How much are they worth each? They are on the offical skype website for £8.99, the only difference is these come without the free 30mins voucher. Thanks

They look very similar to the ones in the 99p shop and even if they are you still have a good buy.

Personally I'd stick them on BIN at £4 each, with £1 postage advertise as £5 inc P&P and make an easy £50 out of £7. You could charge 75p for multiple buys so people would be more inclined to buy 2 to call each other for free.

Unfortunately the seller is still selling them on ebay in lots of 10 so I can't see the OP being able to sell them for more than he paid. They usually go at £4 for ten, although a few have remained unsold and a few when he started listing sold for £5.50.

Probably better off trying to car boot them.

I agree with Soo that maybe carboot is the best place to try and sell them. Hubby bought a real cheap set of headphones for use with our skype and the software is free to download anyway. Sorry to say, I can't see them making you much at all.

Oh and the price of these sets on the websites shown on the auction has gone down to just under £5.

  • Alot of people including myself, got into Skype using the free headsets. Unfortunately, they give poor sound quality on the other end of the line (Or mine did) So I had to stop using the service until a VOIP phone arrived.... Much better now.
