Walls need re-tying - any idea about cost?

I am looking at a 3 bed semi house. The origional iron wall ties are rotten and as a result they need re-tying.
Has anyone got an idea about how much this might cost me? Also any clues on the level of disruption?

As for price it depends where you live and who you know, I had a 4 bed semi done about two years back and it was about £4000
