Hi
Not sure if this is in the correct section and sorry as its probably very lame but I just wanted to ask, is there anything you can do (legally) if the amount on a receipt and the amount on the actual card transaction receipt is different?
The amount on the card transaction receipt is the amount I was expecting but surely they should show all charges on the normal receipt?

Here's a random answer then...

Seriously - I'd expect both amounts to be the same. Whether I got upset about it or not would depend on the difference in amounts and the price of the product.
If the receipt is for less than the cc transaction then I'd worry if I had to return the object.0 -
Anything you can do!? If the receipt says £10 for example and your transaction slip says £15.00? Are you really asking this?
Who in their right mind would think there was nothing they could do if this happened? Goodness me...

Thanks for the replies lol
Its nothing I'm getting upset about as the cc reciept shows the amount I was expecting and the difference is only £1 but its more of a case of i did have a reason to complain, it'd be able to and have something legal to fall back on...0
