  • He he - aren't we all! Once you've had a look at the spreadsheet and seen the results on the charts, that can motivate you a great deal - come back and let me know how you get on... no time like the present, so start filling it in asap so you can start saving!

    Hi all,

I have designed a spreadsheet to be used to monitor your spending once you have done Martin's excellent budget planner. This is like Part II if you will...

    Thanks for the info.

Any suggestions for Windows XP [have problems with excel ]

Hi - if you see the instruction area on the download page, you can download OpenOffice from https://www.openoffice.org that is like Excel and is free - let me know how you get on!

Sorry, but I had to laugh when I saw under the heading of saving per month: "charity donation cancelled".

There's no denying that it will save you money, but it's a bit like saying "I saved a fortune by not buying anyone birthday or Christmas presents" - bah, humbug !!! :xmassign: :rotfl:
  • That's a pretty hefty Assumption you've got going there Ian - best not to make any of those :naughty: FYI, I changed the DD to the joint account so I 'saved' money on my personal account. Constructive comments though, are most welcome.
