Have tried some 'cheapies' and some more expensive ones, in the end they all leaked air back in, some just took longer than others0

I have two and haven't had any leaks. I think they work best if you don't keep opening and closing them - I open mine every few months.
They are fantastic for storing clothes and blankets etc and don't have to worry about mould or musty smells. I am thinking of getting a few more to store winter duvets/coats/thick jumpers etc.0 -
I bought mine from Lakeland and wish I hadn't bothered they are a waste of time . Better to store clothes in a suitcase in the loft or on top of the wardrobe. I also bought little ones for holidays and they were OK on the way there but broke before I could come home so had to buy another case. so nil points from me. :rotfl:
Contact Lakeland, their customer service policy is brilliant, you should get your money back.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

I find they only work once. Though I can get them to seal and can withdraw the air a second time I find they leak soon. They are useful for putting stuff in the wardrobe shelf when in vacuum mode and then letting them fill the space available and I haven't damaged them when getting them out. I have tried several makes and they all act the same so I wouldn't buy more!0

I have the argos ones and think they are great.I put the bag in a suitcase then add the clothes then seal and suck the air out.I find I can store a lot more clothes this way and the bag cant get damaged.0

i got some from poundland recently, and out of 5, only one of mine has magically got air back in it again.
I also suggest that maybe you get some cheap ones first to see how you get on, rather than spend lots of money to find its not what you thought/ wanted it to be

i got mine from the pound shop also, think there were 2 in the pack for £1, bargained and have stayed flat. i store my spare duvets in them as they are only used occassionally but used to take up half my wardrobe.0
