Saucy - I really think you'd be better concentrating on nutrition for your health than losing weight. I would worry about what you might be depriving yourself of.

I've got an appointment with a nutrionist after my doctors appointment on Friday morning....a lady from the advocacy service is meeting me there. She sent the doctor a copy of my email...I'm a bit worried, to be honest.
I'll just try to spur you guys on then
(Thanks Jo)

Saucy is she meeting you for both appointments or just the nutritionist and did she ask you if it was ok to send gp a copy of your email.
It can be daunting but you've made a start on it and it will get easier. good news about seeing a nutritionist as well.

She's meeting me outside the doctors, and coming in there with me. I don't know if she is coming to the nutritionanist, she said she doesn't work Friday afternoons so she might be in a rush to leave.
I guess she did ask, but I think she'd already done it. There isn't anything in it that I wouldn't want him to read, but I got a bit emotional while writing it and I'd have preferred to have edited it before anyone else saw it.
Thank you so much for your help in finding one. It's going to be a busy (but hopefully productive) week!Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0 -

Brilliant news Saucy - now they should start taking you seriously. Make sure you don't hold back and complain to the practise manager about the bl@@dy receptionist....

I'm quite small in height so 10st 9 is pretty heavy for me. when my friend got married and I was 22 I was 7 st 1 although prob too thin. spent my late 20s early thirties around 8st 7 but think thats prob unrealistic now. getting under 10 stone will be a big boost for me.

er....I am something over 10 to and want to be at least 9 something - was 7-8stone for years and years but since children seem to hover around the 10 mark
- when I was 18 I dropped to 6 stone by having a diet of just stress/emotion and chocolate and coke (of the pop variety), but thats a whole other story!
I would love to join you but we have that many Easter goodies left I can't see me getting very far......so can I join in but without too many expectations LoL!
So how does this work, when is the weekly weigh in?Life is a work in progress0
