Hello everyone - been away from the computer all weekend just about - so I'm never going to catch up now!

Nixnixi- sorry to hear your sad news - doesn't matter how long it is since we've seen a person - to hear they've died in such sad circumstances is always distressing. But you have a happy memory of him, which has stayed with you for years and may bring comfort in a note to his family at some point.

Went to Weald of Kent Craft Show at Penshurst Place, Kent on Saturday - lovely -nice atmosphere, great food and lovely things to look at and the rain mostly held off apart from a few light showers.. What struck me most was that there was no hand knitting or patchwork and many of the craft items really could only be categorised as "ornamental" - I always think it's good if a beautifully made item can have a use (jewellery, a crochet blanket, knitted jumper etc etc). I have no more room in my small house for something, however beautiful, that has no function. Pity.
Anyway- have sold 6 new DVDs over the weekend and a huge photography book (all on Amazon). Am in the process of (slowly) listing around 400 classical music CDs that were my FIL's. It ocurred to me that I can't have too many listed at once - can you imagine how difficult it would be to search through 4 boxes of CDs - just looking for the one you have just sold?:rotfl:

    PS what's a mini move???????

Thank you Rosie and Mrs Money. A bit shocked really.

A mini move is like a mini challenge - Jo's fab idea! She is going to suggest a mini challenge for each day that will help us focus and achieve our £10k targets. Yesterday's challenge was to save £1, which we could add to our total, and todays is.....hold on I'll find Jo's link as she is much better at explaining than me.....I'll be back!

I'm back - here is the link: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=32448099&postcount=4170

Sorry don't know how to do a posh short one!!

So sorry to hear that Nixi!

Ive done my mini challenge for the day - and god I have a lot to do.

Of the 89 affiliates we added into our system, 5 were a match for the previous system. Meaning I have in excess of 140 affiliates to put into the new system (which is a time consuming process but from what I know this will definately earn revenue as the old system has been earning a steady income for the past 2 1/2 years without so much as me making any changes!

    Morning all,

I have been in and out of the thread lurking this weekend, instead of a mega post I ended up giving lots of thanks instead. As for me, nice relaxing weekend – got quite a bit done. Still finishing bits off on the website Mabel – but nearly at the finish line. And I know what you mean with projects Mabel– I get so excited by new projects that sometimes I lose focus on the old one.

Jo – I love the mini move by the way. Saving a pound a day – well at the start of the dribbling I started making my own lunch. Central London is like urban food robbery average decent lunch is about £4 per day. So, since January – I have been making a pack lunch and making sure I eat a large breakfast. My daily spend for both breakfast and lunch is now about £2.50 per day.

NLID – I can only do it as I am a borderline design psychopath. I am seriously addicted to graphics, my life’s obsession lol! I tried emailing you again – gonna PM you in a bit.

Also, the new ready made invitation range is going really well too. I have designed 2 invations of the weekend. I just have an invitation suite to finish off completely, and there are some other invitations that I am going to play around with too. Really excited about it all. I also decided to add some ready made wedding sites into the range. I have 4 templates to complete and I have given my self another two weeks to get things finished off. I hope to have samples ready to got later on this week. And then I will need to the lovely Nixi. (I am going to PM you later on today, as I want to get your site sorted.)

Also Nixi, I almost forgot to add my condolences too xxx (((hugs)))
[FONT=&quot]Oh, that did turn into a long post after all LOL!

Waves to missing dribblers too including MMTWGR, Saucy, Amber! (I know that there are more - but I am very old and it is very early in the morning lol!)
    xxx
