And here's me thinking that I was just being a pain in the butt!!!! Lol!

By the way it's fantastic Hun, so helpful to me already!

So a BIG THANK YOU x

Lol Not at all, thanks for the compliments but this is still it in its early stage, it will improve a lot.

The last thing you need to think is your being a pain in the butt, I am basically giving away copies of this software to allow you to find problems for me, if I had the money I would happily pay 1000's for the same information I am getting, the key thing to making this software a success is usability, reliability and then the data it provides.

The data source is reliable and well defined - and approved for use by ebay, meaning once I get the glitches out of the matrix (sorry my geekyness can be overhwelming sometimes) then we will have a product which is reliable and data hungry. The only other problem is usability and that is where all of the information I can get to improve it helps me.

I have been doing the dream sums, and based on the potential profit margins, if I can get 200 paying users for a total of 10 months, I make 10k. If I can get 1000 paying users for a total of 30 months, I am debt free and mortgage free, which will be before I turn 30!

it has been my longterm aim to be debtfree (exc mortgage) by the time im 30, since about 2007 - so hopefulyl with a little help from my friends I can do this, and help you guys hit your own personal targets!

I've no idea if it's helpful...I've just been looking at the PM for half an hour but I've just sent it. I need to work on not being so shy!

Lilac, you don't wanna be a cleaner!! What type of beads do you have? (Beaded merkins? :rotfl:)

Be brutal with me - it makes for a better product! Every little message helps in one way or another, be it encouragement the system is doing something right, or telling me its gone wrong somewhere so I can fix it!

    Morning

Another beautiful day here, really going to get on with things today, have already done my to do list and I am going to stick to it today, hopefully no trips to the hospital!

Just to add my bit, I think that sometimes the thread does go off tangent a bit, especially when someone has a bad day/week, and it is hard to keep up with, but if it weren't for the everyday natter, I don't know about you lot, but I think that I for one would have probably drifted and given up by now. A thread without all the banter was tried and failed miserably, thats what is keeping us all involved, and in the case of Mabel and NLID, it is proving to be the making of new businesses. So Cally, I can understand your frustration, and I really hope you do decide to stay, but for me, all the randomness that is discussed is wonderful even if it does take the best part of an hour or two to catch up!

    ok, todays to do list:

Book pallet to collect fish tank
    Phone court and pay fee
    Phone CSA
    Phone Jan and make payment
    Pay Rent
    Phone RNSYC and sort membership
Get doctors app for !!!!head, I mean OH
Do some shopping so we can have dinner tonight
Find 8 empty boxes to be collected at 5pm
Add another 50 listings to EBay
    Remove ad for kittens
    Wash up
Do at least 1 load of washing
    Post sales
Phone DVLA and find out where the hell my licence is
Phone council and sort out lack of bin
Work out finances to see if I can actually afford weekend away.

Think thats it for now, between that lot and the kids, that should keep me busy best part of the day!

NLID - should you find yourself needing another tester, I would love to have a nosey! Is that cheeky? If not, then I will be your first paying customer!
    turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 - :(

I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!

    !

On a random note, I've pretty much done half last months commitments in one day, or at least started towards them, why on earth did I spend March procrastinating???

Its semi merkin related. I actually had to google what a merkin was when i first returned btw. Google images as well btw.

Right merkin is a business/money making idea project whatever. It is no more or less valid than t-shirts, tarot, jewellery, notebooks, cakes or 1001 other things that go on and are up for discussion in this thread.

This thread is wild and free and the majority of us seem to like it that way, I got a bit bogged down in the details a few weeks back so I just withdrew from it a few weeks back when there was a big glut of posts saying oooo how can i make 10k tell me how! and all that. I returned when I was in a better place. I do not think any of us has any right or cause to question the way the thread is going as the majority obviously take it there.

We have all had days when our idea hs been talk of the board for pages and pages. ALL of us have.

I can't hep but think a smal minority of posters somehow feel that other peoples ideas are less worthy than there own so they basically spit the dummy.

well said.... I do find the thread a bit odd some days but I just ignore what I don't find useful / interesting - no offence to anyone, your dribble is valid to others but not always to me. But if it wasn't for this thread I would not be in the position I am, and I would have given up on the whole business idea before now, stuck with lots of stock!
    So keep dribbling.....
First, Can I give a Massive Thanks to the 5 people so far who have helped me, you have already been a massive help of a much higher proportion than you realise.

I have already picked up on 10-12 bugs I didnt know existed, and have fixed 10 of those. I hope to have the other two fixed tonight before I goto bed!

Whilst not all of the feedback has been about bugs, one of the questions has given me an idea how I can make the system easier to use - which of course enables me to build a better system for my customers - So thanks;.

NLID - sorry, I was a feeling a bit odd last night so I didn't have a chance to look at the website. I will have a play with it later and feedback to you if you still want me to.... OH, and I am more than happy to help promote it on the ebay forums for you when you are happy for it to go on full release!

Cally - come back when you feel a bit better.....

off to get clean, go docs, food shopping and that probably the whole day sorted.... see you guys later!
