yes going to get some veg in this morning as that does not need fridge.
The spot where the fridge goes in the flat is very narrow, roughly 21 inches. I can find bigger ones but the wont fit! the only other spot is for the washing machine that I will eventually get and then space for the cooker. tiny kitchen but it is mine!!!!
right off to find the counter tops for the kitchen, I know I saw them in there yesterday!!I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

munchki, near where we live we have a furniture and white goods charity. people donate stuff that they are getting rid of and the charity does it up and sells it on at a very cheap price.
they are qualified in repairing and testing white goods. you have to show you are in some sort of need and then you get a card and can use it as much as you want. they do computers and allsorts of other stuff too.
just wondering if there is some scheme like this near you. maybe cab or a local cvs or even council would know.

Also Munchki - I know this isn't free but have you tried looking on here http://www.localbargainfinder.co.uk/ if you are lucky you can pick up things really cheaply, not sure about a narrow fridge though.....Life is a work in progress0
