  • Morning all!

Well I eat my words, I got up to find I had 8 pages to catch up on! Sorry for not saying goodnight, DD1 has bugs it would seem and woke up last night, so ended up snuggling with her and fell asleep....ooops!!

Babymoo - I am soo sorry to hear your news, I hope everyone else finds the strength to pull through xxx

Has anyone noticed what the update is? You can now see how many people you have thanked for there posts. Just makes me look stingy! Ah well!

Today we are to nurse poorly children and hangovers and enjoy the sunshine, me thinks!

Sods law, I finally found a babysitter and was supposed to be going out tonight for the first time in nearly 2 years! Looks like I might have to cancel :( Still, now I have found one, suppose I cna book her for another night *sighs* was really looking forward to it aswell. I was being taken to Bingo Britains casino to give them some of their money back :D Heyho, right, think I might dig out the paint and rollers and get started on the kids bedroom, I got some lovely shiney silver butterflies from EBay, they are transfers and hopefully will make the room look prettiful!

I know its really late but if you could all spare a moment when you read this. Tonight our family lost 2 very dear friends, both children under 5 in a house fire across the road. Parents are critical and a third baby is ok. Fire completely gutted house taking everything in its path with it. It's incredible how much damage can be done in 2 hours. I am completely heart broken it is so sad that something like this can happen to 2 little children. Please take a moment and rememeber them in your thoughts.
    Thanks

OMG Babymoo. That really is terrible. (My two are 5 (just) and 3 and I can't imagine the devastation that would cause, I hope the parents are pulling through that little baby needs them..... OMG....... you know we are here if you need us....hugs, tea, tissues....whatever you need......thinking of you and that poor family. Any ideas what caused the fire???

    Morning all,
Babymoo, oh goodness, my heart and thoughts are with you and the family. I can only imagine the shock and heartbreak. I am here if you need to talk *huge hugs*

Woke up about an hour ago completely disorientated and could barely move, feel like I have been hit by a truck, all of me aches lol, but what a great feeling! Made a coffee, and going to take a tramadol as my knee is is really sore. Then I am going to get things sorted here just so I can put the bed together! Also need to nip out and get a few little bits like washing up liquid, bread and such. Missy found her bed last night and finally settled and is now enjoying the bright sunshine this morning.

Right off to find the tablets, some clothes and i think another coffee!

Be back a bit later and I also just wanted to say, a huge thank you to everyone. Last night was amazing and very special to me.

    munchki xx

MUmmyp - I hadn't noticed the update lol! I bet Hales thanks looks good lol!!

NLID - Do you maybe need to add one feature that is unique to get people to differentiate you? and then the rest will follow?

Anyone else suffering with a hangover this morning.......coffee needed I think! :D
Can't believe I missed the police chucking you all out lol! Sorry if I was too noisy leaving, I did try, but just couldn't stop singing 'No Place Like Home!'....well think I may have been shouting it actually ;)

Munchki - hope you are feeling great in your own place despite the quiet!! Had a look on our freegle (not freecycle anymore) and not seen anything...but will keep an eye open. Do you need an electric or gas oven?

Jo - fantastic party, THANK YOU!

Hi nixi! love the new flat, will love it more when I can see some sense in it lol. by end of day today I want to have it at least sorted and mostly if not all put away! Hehehe, so that was you shouting the song so loudly, wondered why the cat jumped as you left last night! heheh

I am looking for an all electric cooker I think. I can use either, but think am going to go with electric for now. I have not found anything on our local one as well, but did place and ad on it and do check daily.

thank you nixi! I must admit how the heck would I get it here? LOL

For now I have a microwave, and a steamer, so trying to figure out what I am going to buy that is both very very cheap and can be done in either and does not require refrigeration lol and not a big fan of beans on toast. So thinking jacket spuds, toast, porrige, etc I must admit, I am really starting to enjoy this now and love a good challenge!

    Morning all :-)

oh god Babymoo that is awful, hope the parents will be ok for the babys sake :-( big hugs for you hun,it must be awful to have that going on in your street :-(

Enjoyed the party last night-my first virtual party ever! cant believe you all got kicked off Facebook lmao!
  • Munchki - rice (15 minutes in a bowl a water in the microwave), lots of veg (justy about anything steams), long as you use it in a day or 2, it can survive without a fridge. Fill the sink or a bucket with cold water and float milk and bits in it, it will keep it cool. I am going to raid the 30+ microwave cookbooks for you and see if I can find a few choice recipes!

I second Nixi - will check freegle wotsit for you for cookers and fridges. Can put them on a pallet for £37 and put it OHs account so it doesn't even need paying for a month :D he has his uses!
