I'm still here Jo, just felt like I have done a lot of posting and taking over with Cally etc today!

Your posts on the other thread are much appreciated.....wasn't sure if I read her first response correctly, but judging by the rest of the thread I did.

Nixi don't feel like you're taking over.
Its easy to get pulled into stuff like that when you want to make sure things aren't misrepresented. Its probaly not worth it though and I wish I had just let it go but also glad you felt supported. after all you didn't search her out to be confrontational. must have been a shock to see her there and commenting that way.
    Hugs.
we don't like bad feelings here on our cosy thread do we. but don't worry all will be fine hun

Quick hi to all, I have been dipping in for a quick read of posts recently but not posting as I am snowed under.

Just in case anyone thought I had taken a sudden aversion to the varied, interesting conversations here - or, been 'offended' by something or other, lol. Its only dribble, xx truly

  • I always miss all the drama! Not getting involved though, I create enough drama myself to occupy me :o

Had a fun time getting my leg xrayed today, cute man-nurse (had to specify the man part :rotfl:) Thank god I waxed the other day!

Really need to do something productive tonight, doubt it will happen though, coursework seems to be taking over which is awfully depressing. Well that and an overly clingy DS recovering from his mini-man-flu but not quite ready to give up the extra, extra cuddles.

Seems almost everybodies poorly though around here and/or dealing with rather stressful stuff so *hugs* to just about everybody :A
  • Never rise to the bait - ooops, I did too! Never mind!

Here too! Just getting dinner in the oven, toad in the hole, DD1s fav, then got to start the hectic bit of dinner bath bed x2, plus OH is not goingto be home til DDs bedtime, so got to do it all on my own :( this is the one part of the day where I could really do with the help. Will be back about 8 when I finally have quiet!

lmao-well said :-) nice to see you are still about hun :-)

Nixi-I didnt mean any offence about your PR, completely the opposite! I meant I am scared it will work too well and I'll have to start living up to the descriptions that you and Dili have of me!!

As fo the other incident-if someone posts on here that we are basically a waste of space and they won't be participating anymore why the hell would we chase them with PM's and emails asking about it. The End

  • Mambury - sorry you are feeling poo :( how far away does he work? Its not nevermind btw, it does matter, a lot. I do know how you are feeling, my OH is rarely back before they go to bed and is almost never still here when they get up. I know it is not the same, but still all day everyday just me and the kids. Has he tried looking closer to home? My Dad made a good point when looking for work closer, he was willing to take a paycut because it equated to the travelling, the petrol, the eating away from home and all the other bits. Would that work for your OH, or is his type of job a hard one to find?

Big huggles and virtual choc. Don't suppose there is any family nearby, just to have them for one dya after school and dinner them every now and then to give you a bit of me space?
