    Well done nikki!:T
Hi Mambury and nixi, mambury when's your call, mine's at eleven! I'm a bit nervous which I realise is probably daft :) nixi, you sound like you're off to a great start with the weight loss challenge:j

    Well guess what...
    Totoro is here!!! :j:T:j
I'm having to really resist running upstairs and wake her up to say 'guess who's come to see you?'! Think I might tuck him in with her as I go to bed the night before her birthday, so she wakes up with him :D off to leave Toots some sort of criticism although what I dunno as he's pretty much perfect from what I can see, and bigger than I expected too, she's absolutely going to love him! Thank you! xx

So glad you're happy with him hun, thank you so much for your pm :j - have replied but just wanted to say again that I really appreciate you taking the time to let me have that feedback, it means the world to me.

  • I won;t be posting for a bit either - too depressed. Don't want to say why here.

*huge huge hugs* Amber, we'll miss you if you're not around, but please don't feel like you HAVE to post every day either. Just pop in and let us know you're ok. In the meantime, I echo other dribblers, I'm just a pm away and my ears are always open.

  • Hello everybody, sorry I haven't been about recently, just needed some time out. Everything was getting a bit on top of me and I just had to step away and think for a bit. It occurred to me while I was away and I actually had some free time to think, that I am not happy, and much as I fill the day stupidly with things to do, it is all just one big distraction. The house, the kids, the challenge, it is all just something to do, not because it makes me happy, but because I have to. Maybe I am being silly, but I just feel soooo lost, like somewhere between everything I lost who I was, and it has been so long since I have been me, that I don't know who I am and where to start looking for the missing bits.

*hug* Please don't feel you have to apologise for taking time out, I think we've all done that along the way and you must do what you need to do. So glad you've posted though.

I did the same for years, muddled along as a wife and a mother and an employee and lost myself along the way. I remember clearly how lost and completely empty I felt and it's really not nice, so I feel for you so much. Please feel free to pm me if you want a chat - I don't know all the answers, but I can relate, and I've come out the other end with a solid sense of 'me'.

there are so many people on here I would like to live near to or meet in real life. would nice to be able to just pop round for a cup of tea or have you come here.although I would have to tidy up for about a month first.
not really felt like that on any forums before even parenting ones.

    Hi Amber *waves*
Mrs money-its a very haphazard challenge basically just put whatever you want to weigh in your sig (only if you want to) starting weight etc-we are weighing everysunday but whenever you want really!
Jusr spent £21 on gardening stuff..oops! got compost, seed trays and covers, bamboo canes, labels and seeds-lettuce/runner beans/peas and carrots going to have some dinner now I'm bloody starving!
What a coincidence ! I always weigh myself on the weekend too - not that it makes any difference - it's always the same!:rotfl:
Am also planting veg seeds madly too - courgette and maybe squash next - done dwarf French beans and runner beans, tomatoes, basil, carrots, salad leaves, Lollo Rosso and rocket- got a load of free seeds from the BBC Dig In campaign!

    lol! I know that feeling!

Wish I'd decided to do this growing lark earlier so I could have got some free seeds but never mind I'll know for next year.
Should be able to get some tomato plants from my uncle as he always has too many, saying that if all my runner beans come up I'll have about 30-i only need about 5!
