munchki - well where do I start to reply to that lot lol. Whats your blanket like? Is is crocheted? As for finding the interview place well done for that but bad times about the spead camera. Do you have a local area forum where you could ask if there was anyone with a van for the day you need it theres one for sheffield and loads of people ask on then.

Don't know how the points work paula but last year I started going to a local gym and eating healthier. I just did cycling anf rowing at the gym so all aerobic. took 3 weeks before I lost any weight but I was a bit slimmer and definitely more tone d by then. after that the weight started to come off fairly steadily.
did it for my brothers wedding and after that and with upheaval of building work I didn't carry on and so put the weight back on.
    It did feel good though.
    Jo x

Evening Jo! Well done you for being so aerobic! I've got my bike in the bedroom, set up on a stand thing my brother gave me, so it's basically turned into a static exercise bike, brilliant idea! That until I get my confidence back up for going out again haven't done it for a while.

Toots, i wouldn't know if they'd be good for a dodgy knee - i had a bad knee after i had dd1 -which being overweight won't have helped -and it hurt worse when I used my mbts. It was due to the hormones that make your pelvis loosen at the end of pregnancy not being localised and letting my kneecap slip slightly so it was constantly rubbing on the wrong bit apparently. So if yours is nothing to do with something like that maybe it would be ok? I sort of know what i'm on about lol! Xx

My knee is arthritic Paula, so think I'll double check with doc before I go trying them out. Although I was that any non-impact exercise would be good, and I suspect there is less impact with the mbts than with regular shoes. Thanks for the info!

hi Paula and toots well now my weight is in signature i will have to do something about it

Well hey Elly, welcome to the dribblers weight loss club lol, unnofficial though it may be! I'm sure you'll soon be updating your siggy hun, well done! :T

Well, I checked the scales a few minutes ago, and I'd like to add another whole pound to today's weight loss totals!! Bit disappointed, but I'd have a cheek to mump as I mini-lectured Jo earlier :rotfl:Off to update siggy!

Amber what a shame, I presume you didn't have anything booked yet? Everyone was expecting the restrictions to be lifted for flying tomorrow, but there's nothing till at least 7pm tomorrow night as things stand just now. Next update at 3am but I doutbt it's going to change much. :(

Paula that would explain much about Mummy & Paige! Munchki was worrying about her last night and couldn't get in touch. Oh I so hope she's not stranded....

    evening everyone!

Been a pretty good weekend around here, not that I did much of anything tho! Actually had about an hours nap in the chair today as fell asleep while working on my blanket lol

Decided this afternoon to go out and try and find this place that I have an interview for tomorrow afternoon, straight after work. I found it, just at the same time a speed camera found me as well! eeeek, not exactly what I needed today. The second problem with the new job possibilityis that it pays monthly and i am currently on weekly. It is perm however and does pay 3ish grand more a year, however it would mean no income for 5 weeks, not sure I can do this, in fact I am pretty sure I cant. Agency however said to go to interview and if offered the job they would talk to them about a possible advance, just dont know if that is a good idea either.

Then been trying to sort out a transit van etc to do the move this week. So far I am really struggling as cant find one so far that does not want up to 200 quid as a security deposit, which obviously I dont have. I only have the option of moving either thurs afternoon or first thing friday morning. cant even find a van for 4 hours that I can afford. I wish I knew someone that had one. Why cant just one thing go right or come even slightly easy.

I keep telling myself that these things are set to try me, however I would think by now the universe would know that I have passed enough tests for a lifetime! Oh well, one way or the other I will figure something out, I just dont have a blinking clue on how. I have not figured out how to make money magically appear.

Back to work tomorrow and part of me is actually relieved as per usual very little sleep around here and i am so looking forward to being in my own space again, long overdue now. lol, just have to figure out how to get my stuff back down here into my space hehehe.

Sory about the long dribble, I suppose am just sounding out things as sometimes it makes more sense to have written them down to try and make sense or find a way to sort them out.

Hope everyone has had a good weekend!

Something will come up honeybun, good of the agency though to suggest they could have a word re an advance. They can only say no, then you know where you stand. If they say yes, then you've not only got a great job but money to tide you by.

They say life doesn't give you any more than you can handle. You're a tough cookie! :D

Regarding MandP, she was not supposed to be going on said weekend away for another 2 weeks! she did go off to see her mum and dad on monday to work on passports etc. Not heard a peep from her, which is odd, so am a bit worried.

Ahhh yes, I do recall you're right about Mummy & Paige hun. Maybe she's just stayed with her parents longer? Wish someone could contact her, did you try Rachel again?

While I'm on the subject, I saw Babymoo post on FB today, but it won't let me into her profile, repeatedly says it's not available - I was going to leave her a message just to make sure she's ok. Anyone else have her on FB and having the same prob?
