MM nope all parties are lying cheating gits IMO. I will vote but not sure who yet. Conservitives appear to be unable to do simple maths which is a bit worrying. Labour are lacking in direction and Lib Dems do actually make sense but stand no chance. I may vote for the raving loony party or something.
Having a nightmare, washing machine making weird noises. its only 6 months old. Sounds like something has fallen off in it.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -

Right now its not about if im interested in doing it - it is simply a matter of will it bring in the income to allow me to rebuild this business around the ebaytools and other projects I have got - things are looking very bleak at the minute as to be honest, I have a niggle that another client is going to do the same - and that would leave me working any job I can get my hands on - which will most likely be shelfstacker at Asda on minimum wage, which we simply financially wouldnt be able to afford to eat with our current commitments.
Ok, this is probably a bit late for posting but I am still catching up lol.
NLID - I am proof positive that things do start to work out in the end and do come full circle! My timeline has been like this. 12/08 xmas day, assaulted by my husband and walked out on (he had been cheating for, well prob ever) 02/09, forced out of our house because he wanted it, plain and simple, so to stop the bullying I moved to a rented house. 07/09 was made redundant from my dream job, struggled and struggled but lost the battle and lost my rented house a few days after xmas 09. Along with that loss I also lost just about everything I owned, furniture, stuff basically everything cept my car and a few boxes! There was a business in between, and it worked well for awhile until I lost my two best clients which was 80% of the business, so that has also gone on the back burner but only for now. Around 800+ cv's etc later, I now have a job (nothing great but a wage) that happend this month, I have a flat that I am moving into next week and even with everything I have been through and then some (still get nearly weekly if not at times daily carp from the soon to be ex) and I know this will sound strange, but I would not change a thing. I have struggled, came close to giving up in the literal sense but discovered so much about myself, what is really important in life and overall I am happier than I have been in years, even tho I still have a few struggles to get through. I have also decided that after the move, I am going to stop hiding from the car and will probably give it up to the loan company as I just can not do it anymore and will try and find something in a couple months to just run about in! This is not the first struggle Ihave been in my life, in fact most of my life has been very hard and very harsh, I am however grateful for every opportunity and sweet memory as that is what continues to drive me forward and I know that one day I will also grow my own business as I know the work is there, just need a slight confidence boost myself and so for now, I help here where I can, logos, copy, etc. I would not give up a single person on this thread and I am so grateful for the emotional support and yes the strong kicks up the backside along with a bit of handholding as well. Kindred spirits in so many ways. You may be going through a tough time and although it looks dark, I have finally learned that even when I was at my darkest point in life, there was probably someone even worse off then me. Ok, sorry, I have really gone on and on.....forgive me all?nolongerindenial wrote: »He can run me ragged - he may be determined but I am unstoppable (And I can pick him up - he cant pick me up yet..)
Right, I have the final design from Dilli now, and I must say it looooks good! Tonight I am going to be coding the website and making everything Tie In as it should do. Once that is all done its just page content I need and lets start increasing my £100 -> £10,000 balance!
If you would like some help with page content let me know and I will do what I can to help you out.moneymabel wrote: »To be honest I think all political parties will be pretty much the same so I just need to find out one thing that I either agree with or disagree with strongly to make up my mind!
I am one of those people who are not allowed to vote, something to do with being an american, I have always believed however that if you cant take the time to vote and yes I know none of the parties are great at the moment, but if you cant take the time to vote then do you really have the right to gripe when it all goes wrong? My humble opinion of course and I do wish I had the right to vote here.I am somebody. I am me. I like being me. And I need nobody to make me somebody! Louis L'Amour0 -

Glad the plants got there skint - I had visions of the roots dripping all over other peoples post, or the package splitting open and the drug squad being called in or something! Hope mambury's arrives or they will be VERY sad indeed. I'd give them a good soak and then heel them in somewhere and keep them watered.0

Munchki, I think your post was fantastic and very generous to share so much of yourself and all that you have been through. please don't apologise.

Thank you Jo, was just sat here debating on whether to delete it or not! I really feel the very strong urge to help, to write to, hmmmm not really sure how to explain it. There is a need there, I just need to find the beginning. Been thinking about it all day today and when all you do is a very very mundane task for 8 hours, you can let your mind wanderI am somebody. I got a voipfone (hard solid real phone) for about £50 and have used that on my residential bt broadband package, not had a problem as yet :th:
Please be careful on this NLID, I believe it's illegal to record telephone calls without the other party's permission.
Great to hear you so positive again, it truly is the little things in life (your DS) that reminds us that we need to keep going and going and going and going.....moneymabel wrote: »On a different note- elections- I'm determined to vote this year as I am embarrassed to admit I am 38 and have only ever voted once in my life ( for the only reason that I wanted fox hunting banned.. At least they kept that promise!)
Trouble is I know as much about politics as i do about computers ie nothing, has any of the partys pledged to help self employed people?!
Pretty much ditto, and I know that I if I don't vote, I don't have the 'right' to complain about the state of the country. It just doesn't interest me! I don't watch the news, I don't read newspapers, most of it is such depressing stuff and winds me up, so I just avoid it.LilacPixie wrote: »MM nope all parties are lying cheating gits IMO.
I totally agree Lilac, and what gets me is that the promises they all make pre-election are absolutely nothing to go on. They don't follow through most of the time and by then it's too late to do anything about it. The mouths open and they say what they think we want to hear, but rarely actually get around to doing anything about it, imo.
Munchki, why don't you blog your life 'adventures'? That would give you the outlet for your writing, and perhaps let other folks out there see that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Btw, messenger playing up at this end, no clue what the problem is, but it won't connect!
*wave* to everyone, if I've missed you and you need a hug, consider yourself hugged!!
Off to grab something to eat, I'm ravenous and I think it's because I very sensibly had lunch today! At lunchtime even

Meant to say, we seem to have lost Babymoo and Evenstarcrafty along the way, does anyone know if they're both ok?

Babymoo's laptop had broken, I think, and she didn't know when she'd be back. I hope she's okay, though.
Even was on last week, I think she said everything was getting better in her last post?
Mabel, the assessment did go well, thank you. I had no idea how much support they could give. Trouble is, I need help today, and it might take 12 weeks til I get any.
Website is fixed...thank god. Now I need to do some work...bad brain fog today, though.Signature down for maintenance :rotfl:0
