    just looked at the map, yep we are surrounded by green belt, yet the village is white? so im not building on green belt, its within the village? and on land thats already developed.

    I'd suggest speaking to a few architects, local ones that would know the area well and what the planning authority would be looking for if indeed you are allowed to create new dwellings.

    It might be worth a chat with a planning officer as well - our LA has surgeries two days a week where you can just turn up for a chat :)

    Fair enough, yes the village itself is not within the GB, but on searching your postcode it identified the area just outside. If you're within the village, that's a good start! Having said that, it doesn't mean that multiple dwellings will be acceptable, as it depends on the policies in the Local Plan. Worth a look!
