Hi
Dont know if this is the right place to post this anyway, you probably notice i posted a similar thread in another place on this forum. Circumstances have changed.
Im now after a LED tv. Got £1100 to £1200 to spend. Really the latter is the top end.
We went to currys & comet today and looked at:
Samsung UE46B6000 (6 Series)
Samsung UE46B7000 (7 Series)
Now i really liked the 7000 (7 Series) because of the extra features and internet/Lan enabled against the 6000 (6 Series).
But after reading reviews on a independent website. the common problem with these models are poor sound.
Bit disspointing as paying out over £1k you would expect a decent top notch TV.
Can anyone recommened a all round decent LED 46"+ TV. I would prefer currys or comet because the also offer installation to wall mount etc. Even though i can do it myself , i'd rather it be warrented and professionly done. But if theres any online from reputable companies for good price then i would consider with a open mind.
Thanks
Alex

tbh, these are 'displays' and a top end telly expects that you have a top end sound system to go with it. With the thickness of these tv's you're not going to get a decent speaker in them.0

Mount it yourself, Do you own a decent (hammer) drill, spirit level, also buy a new masonry drill, its mentioned in the wall bracket fixing kit, view fitting details online as well. It will take two to lift it up, into place. Only use wall bolts into a solid wall.
Yes, sound is poor there is no room for the sub woofers.0 -

I wouldn't mind doing it. I did my 32" tv, in my room is ceiling mounted and cabled down the inside of the wall. We are going to wall mount another in my parents room. I think because of being a expensive purchase dad wanted to have someone do it incase of something going wrong , falling off etc. you can blame the company then.
