I favour LLoyds over RBS. Lloyds has a had a great rally as of late but still its very low to where it was a few years ago!

Do you have solid reasons for speculating on these companies? If not, then yes, it's pretty mad to throw money into something without a good reason.looking for a bit of a gamble.

correct, no real reason other than i just think there is room for some movement upwards on the price and given the pityfull 2-3% on interest you get on savings they dont have to move alot.
could they go belly-up? hmm i dont think so..
just a hunch or a moment of madness as suggested
