Highlight the cell you want to edit, then use the text box at top of spreadsheet. I just tried it and it let me do it, tried in both excel and openoffice. Your not using excel viewer are you ?

Hi can anybody help me? Ive down loaded open office as I dont have a new version of excel but it always downloads to excel and wont let me change any numbers etc. How do I download it to open office instead?? Thanks

what version of excel do you have ? they are excel 97 spreadsheets. to open in openoffice, download file, right click on file, you should get a menu with 'open with' then choose openoffice calc.

sorry to be a nuisance, but I've just downloaded your spreadsheet and it looks great, just what I need for my new years resolution. On the welcome tab the instructions refer to a frills spending tab and an MSE savings tab, the functionality described would be really useful, but I just can't seem to find these options. Am I misunderstanding something (probably!) by the way, I LOVE the Grocery Challenge function.

    Thanks

A little bump for this thread.

I know it hasn't been posted on in a while, but the link in post 1 still appears to work fine. :)

  • Just found this thread - a really great spreadsheet, thanks EagerLearner.
I was just starting to set one up myself, but this has saved me so much time.
Bumping it up as well, so us newbies can find it more easily .
  • Wow just found your Spreadsheet, fantastic. I am only a basci Excel user, so making tables is beyond me.

Thanks to you, I now have lovely colourful tables.

One little question to anybody who might know.

I already have an existing Excel Spreadsheet and would love to add EagerLearners onto the end of mine.

I have tried cutting and pasting and it does'nt really work. Does anyone know how to do it?.

    thanks
