I remember I always wanted an imaginary friend, but thought that they were 'real' as in the kids that had them really did think they were seeing them. I did mention a 'mr invisible' a few times but always felt like a fraud as I couldn't really see him (prob why I called him mr invisible actually lol!).
In fact I think I may actually have spent a lot of time on my own on purpose to try to get an imaginary friend as I'd heard that it was kids without many friends who got them.

My DD aged has an imaginary "Pink" house with a mum called Julie, a dad called Julian and a sister called Charlotte. They are very real to her and she told me recently that she lived in the pink house before she came to live here. She speaks less of them know but she is extremely creative and is doing especially well in school. Enjoy it, it won't last forever .....0
