Bonding concrete coping stones

My neighbour has asked me to help repair her swimming pool. Some of the coping stones around the edge have become loose and can be lifted off. The obvious solution is to hack away the old motar (very hard) and re-bed them, however does anyone know if they can be "glued" back using something like Unibond waterproof PVA. I'd appreciate any advice on this, thanks.

Floor tilers ofetn use a bitumen based flexible adhesive, but I don't know if this can be used outdoors. Youd have to find out.

  • Thanks twobob, I suppose synthaprufe could do the job seeing as it is used in damp situations.
