which order is it best to do things?

I am in the process of buying a house which needs quite a lot of work doing to it and I need some advice as to what order to do things.
These are the things that I know need doing:
double glazing for rear windows
replace front and back doors (they are insecure at the moment)
new kitchen
knock down wall between toilet and bathroom and fit new bathroom
repair/new flat roof for utility room
Is there a particular order I should be doing these for it to be more cost effective?
My instinct was to start with the doors from a security point of view, especially as the property is a repossesion and perhaps see if there was any good deals for getting windows done at the same time. What are your thoughts?

Doors and windows first from the same company, you will get a better deal - use an established local company with a good reputation rather than a national company, you will save thousands.
Flat roof next - property needs to be watertight before you start on any internals
Then knock down wall - you need to get the messy work out of the way first - check it's not loadbearing and get appropriate building regs if it needs supporting etc.
Makes sense to refit bathroom next as it will already be a building site!
Kitchen last

I would suggest flat roof first. If it is damaged and goes unrepaired it can lead to damage inside the property which will only cost more money to put right.
Then doors and windows. and the rest as olias suggests.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
Thanks, that seems sensible :-)0

I understand where phill99 is coming from, but if the doors are currently insecure, then this is obviously a priority to prevent squatters or thieves getting in and ripping out everything that they can sell or vandalising the place. The alternative would be to put temporary locks of some description on the doors (doesn't matter if they look a mess if you are changing the doors anyway), and then see to the roof first.
