tax credit query

Options
Hello
I have a quick question about my tax credit claim- my annual income will change for this new financial year as I was on maternity leave for part of last year- I am currently claiming WTC and CTC on an estimated income of £16300- my estimated income for the next financial year is 24200, however I am leaving my job at the end of September as I am going to university full time. I am planning on ringing the tax credits people next week to update them- my question: am I best telling them I will earn 24k over the whole year then ringing again in September to tell them I have stopped working? I'm aware that I won't be entitled to WTC after I finish work.

I just want to make sure I'm doing things the right way round and giving the correct info!

Thanks!
